To be a successful Catering Assistant with Norfolk County Services your duties will include preparation of fruit, vegetables and salads, as well as other basic food preparation and cooking under the direction of the Cook in Charge.

Cook In Charge
To be successful in the role of Cook in Charge you will be responsible for the management of staff and the effective operation of the kitchen. This includes stock control, health and safety as well as staff training.
In addition, you will be required to plan and produce meals on site and for Meals on Wheels where necessary. You must be able to communicate in a professional manner, conscientious, have good organisational skills and demonstrate previous catering experience.
