Enfield Norse gains ISO accreditation at 1st assessment
June 2010

When Norse Commercial Services formed the joint venture company, Enfield Norse, with Enfield Borough Council, it undertook to gain ISO9001 accreditation with the first 12 months.
With over 100 sites, mainly schools with some civic buildings, to implement staff training and fully documented procedures it was no mean task.
The assessment is made by an external review organisation, in this case Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), and requires the systems to have been running in the company for at least three months.
“This is the first client partnership outside East Anglia where we have taken our existing systems, tailored them and implemented them on remote sites,” commented Phil Dixon, Customer Service Manager at Norse. “It is a credit to the team at Enfield Norse that they have achieved the levels required with such a short space of time.”
Continued accreditation involves ongoing assessment with twice-yearly visits from LRQA. |
