Norse wins contract with new Free School

One of the country’s first Free Schools has appointed Norse to deliver its facilities services.
Free School Norwich, which opened in September 2011, has contract Norse to provide catering for the 40 four to eleven year old pupils, cleaning, caretaking and transport services.
Norse Commercial Director Alison Allen commented, “We are delighted to provide our services to the new Free School Norwich. Norse provides catering for over 300 primary schools and 20 secondary schools around Norfolk, which represents 90% of the county’s local authority schools. In addition we cater for a number of private pre-schools and nursery schools.”
Free Schools are independent of local authority control, being funded directly by the Department of Education.
