Norse sponsored school project raises over £4600
March 2012

A junior school project sponsored by Norse Commercial Services has helped raise nearly £4650 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA).
With contributions from local celebrities and the school children, the school produced the 'Norfolk Children's Healthy Cookbook', over 1000 copies of which were sold in ASDA in Norwich, with all profits going to EAAA.
Norse provided financial backing and support from the company’s catering division, who tested all the adult recipes. Norse also helped by promoting the school children's recipe competition throughout Norfolk.
Kinsale School Headmistress, Carolyn Baxter was full of praise for Norse:
"Norse's contribution was significant, and without their support we would not have been able to raise such a fantastic amount for the EAAA. From the very beginning they believed in what the children were aiming to achieve.
Throughout the process, from the children's vision to the reality of having their cookbook printed and published, Norse’s representatives were fully committed to support the children, We can't thank them enough; their involvement has made a positive difference to all the children involved and to the EAAA, whilst also promoting the message of cooking and healthy eating." |
