Security division has a flying start to 2011

Norse’s security division has kicked off 2011 with a number of new and renewed contracts.

The operating company within Norse Commercial Services has been appointed sole security supplier to the prestigious Royal Norfolk Show under a new three-year contract worth around £35k a year.

In the sporting arena, the division will provide carpark security and traffic management at the two 2011 Norwich half marathons and the Ipswich half marathon and security, crowd stewarding and road traffic management at 11 of the Race for life caner research fundraising events around the region.

The new organisers of the music concerts at Norfolk’s Blicking Hall have confirmed Norse as the security providers for the two events being staged in 2011, a deal that comes on top of further recent agreements for event security, carpark and crowd stewarding at the Norfolk Spectacular, the Heart FM Summer Party and the JLS concert at Hylands Park in Chelmsford.
