Norse cleaning up in Social Housing
November 2011

Norse Commercial Services cleaning division has built on its long-established relationship with social housing provider Flagship, with the award of a contract for its West Region.
Norse won the EU compliant competitive tender that was run under the Restricted Procedure. The three year, £70,000 per annum contract covers the cleaning of communal areas for the housing association’s 2,600 housing stock based in West Suffolk.
Flagship owns and manages over 21,500 properties and is one of the largest providers of affordable housing in East Anglia.
Earlier this year Norse won a three year £92k a year contract for cleaning 380 properties, including the stairwells, landings and entrance areas that form part of the housing group’s portfolio in the Central and North regions of Norfolk.
“This latest win confirms that Norse is now firmly established as a cleaning services supplier to social housing associations,” commented Sales Director Geoff Tucker. “It is an increasingly important sector for the company, and one in which we are currently in discussion with a number of similar Associations around the region.”
“Norse Commercial Services has worked with Flagship for over a decade,” he added, “and we are immensely proud to extend our long-term relationship with this new contract for Flagship’s West Region.”
Norse also provides Building Maintenance services to Flagship. |
